We have had quite a few folks who have attended our Beast Feast event ask us for recipes, we thought we would add a recipe page for y'all to take advantage of and try some of the delicious wild game for yourself. 
Chicken Fried Venison Steak

Venison Philly Cheesesteak

Ingredients

  • 1 pound venison or beef tenderloin, cut into 1/2-inch slices

  • 2 cups crushed saltines

  • 2 large eggs

  • 3/4 cup milk

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper

  • 5 tablespoons canola oil

Directions

  • Flatten venison to 1/4-in. thickness. Place saltines in a shallow bowl. In another shallow bowl, whisk the eggs, milk, salt and pepper. Coat venison with saltines, then dip in egg mixture and coat a second time with saltines.

  • In a large skillet over medium heat, cook venison in oil in batches for 2-3 minutes on each side or until meat reaches desired doneness (for medium-rare, a thermometer should read 135°; medium, 140°; medium-well, 145°).

Ingredients

  • venison roast (sliced very thin)

  • 1 Large Onion

  • 2 Sweet Peppers (Green, red or yellow)

  • Mushrooms

  • 1 bottle Italian dressing

  • Montreal Steak seasoning

  • 1 Tbsp Garlic powder

  • Provolone Cheese

  • Hoagie buns

Easy Fried Pan Fish

Ingredients

Egg - 1

cup milk - 1/4

cup all-purpose flour or cornmeal - 1/2

fish fillets – 1 lb.

cup oil – 1

Directions

Beat egg in shallow dish or pie pan until well blended. Stir in milk. Place flour in another shallow dish. Dip fish fillets in egg mixture; dip in flour to coat.

Heat oil in 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat until hot. Add fish; cook 5 to 7 minutes or until golden brown and fish flakes easily with fork, turning once. If desired, season to taste.
